The Vice Chancellor Borno State University, (BOSU) Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe is among twenty -six indigenes of Bama who are Professors honoured by Bama Local Government council last Sunday.
The occasion took place at the Shehu of Bama’s palace, where Thousands of Sons and Daughters of Bama Local Government from across the country witnessed the grand occasion organised by the council.
The Vice Chancellor Borno State University Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe’s award was presented to him by His Royal Highness the Shehu of Bama Alhaji Umar Kyari Umar El-kenami.In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe thanked the Transition Chairman Bama Local Government Council Alhaji Grema Terab and the entire people of Bama emirates for recognising their modest contribution to the educational and economic development of Bama Local Government.
The Vice Chancellor, encouraged youths of Bama to be united and strive hard in their educational pursuit so that they can be good ambassador of Bama, wherever they may be.
The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by some Management Staff of the Borno State University.
