BOSU ICT in Conjuction with DBI holds 5-Day Training Workshop on ADAPTI to 110 Versity Staff

Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) in collaboration with ICT unit organised a 5-Day workshop on Advanced Digital Appreciation for Tertiary Institutions (ADAPTI) and Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to 110 staff comprises of both Academics and Non Teaching staff of BOSU, has ended on Friday 17th June, 2022.

The training was organized by the BOSU ICT Centre, in conjunction with the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) in partnership with International Centre For Information and Communication Technology Studies and Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

The workshop, which started on Tuesday 14th June, 2022 is part of the digitalization policy of the university to fully adopt the use of modern technology to enhance its performance both in the areas of administration and teaching.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Umar Kyari Sandabe appreciated the facilitators for their time and called on them not to relent as the university will soon request for more training sessions for the remaining staff of the University.

The VC noted that the participants have benefitted a lot and are now fully equipped with crucial tools that will enhance their workwork.

BOSU ICT Coordinator, Mr. Mahmud Muhammad thanked the Management and Staff of BOSU for their time, patience and cooperation during the workshop.

The Coordinator also passionately requested for more training so as to equip the human resources with sufficient and adequate knowledge on the modern world and to boost performance of both teaching and non teaching staff of of the varsity.

The Coordinator of the Training, Mr. Aliyu Mohammed appreciated the Management, Staff and participants for their time and said, they are ever ready to return to BOSU at any moments notice.

Highpoint of the ceremony was symbolic presentation of certificates to the participants beginning with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Umar kyari Sandabe.
