BOSU: VC Sandabe pays courtesy visit to DG, National Biotechnology Development Agency

The Vice-chancellor of Borno state University Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to the Director General/CEO of National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA) Professor Abdullahi Mustapha.

The VC said in his address “we are here to seek your support and collaborate with your Agency and key into aspect of Biotechnology from your Agency. If you want to be relevant globally, you must venture into molecular biology or Biotechnology. It’s important for us to get it right and that’s the primarily reason of our visit.

In his response, the Director General/CEO says his Agency is ever ready to support BOSU and key into areas of collaboration especially the issues of research ranging from environmental, industrial and Agricultural in order to proffer solutions to the issues of desertification, deforestation, vaccine among others.

DG added, the visit gave him a moral boost and they’re very ready to collaborate with BOSU in order to foster research and development in the country.

The VC was accompanied by the DVC Central Administration who double as Professor in Science, Prof. Fanna Inna Abdulrahman, the Registrar Zanna M. Kashim, Director of Works, Physical Planning and Development Engr Mohammed Habib, Director of Academic Planning Dr. Mohammed Musa, Coordinators of Outsource and ICT Ajagana Ali & Mahmud Muhammad and Chief Protocol Officer, Alhaji Modu Mohammed.
